Noosa Waters Retirement Estate boasts a vibrant community of residents and a strong potential for continued growth in its property and investment value.
The manager, Roy Crombie, talks about the goings on of the last year… Noosa Waters Retirement Estate (NWRE) continues to fly the flag as the premier retirement estate in Noosa.
It’s easy to understand why re-sale value is always high as available villas are always snapped-up by astute ‘seniors’ who recognise the quality, security and general ambiance of the Estate.
Accreditation
Noosa Waters is proud to boast that we are in our third year as an Accredited Retirement Estate, continuously meeting the standards required by the National Accreditation Scheme. Southern Cross Care (Qld)’s Continuous Improvement management will ensure Noosa Waters remains accredited into the future.
Gardens
The gardens of Noosa Waters continue to be one of the Estate’s greatest assets – despite recent water restrictions. Our band of proud volunteer residents, who assist the regular maintenance staff, have been successful in keeping the estate looking lush and healthy.
Security
Security within the Estate is probably one of the main reasons most residents choose NWRE as their home. Being a gated community, residents feel free to travel and pursue their interests, safe in the knowledge that their home is secure while they are away.
Residents enjoy extended periods away on adventures, returning to find their home just as they left – their villa ‘aired’ and ready to move back into.
Activities
Activities are an important part of everyday life at Noosa Waters. While most residents enjoy everything that Noosa has to offer within minutes of the Estate, inside the community there are plenty of things to do! Swimming, billiards, water aerobics, indoor bowls, yoga, gymnasium, cards, movie afternoons, relaxation and the occasional golf day.
Craft, too, plays a big part in many of the residents’ lives, with different groups meeting several times each week.
Socialising
Socialising is a focal part of life in the Estate. Regular ‘plate and bottle’ evening, BBQs, event dinners, men’s and ladies lunches, as well as regular outings to shows and restaurant are made easy with travel in the Estate bus.
On top of all that, there have been numerous ‘private’ functions for residents and families celebrating special occasions.
Location and Convenience
With the new Noosa Civic Shopping Complex recently opening, Noosa Waters is now right at the hub of shopping in Noosa. Five minutes in any direction by car or bus (local bus service stops outside our front gate) takes residents to the shops, hospital, medical centres, beaches and various entertainment.
Or take a walk! A fifteen minute stroll will bring you to Gympie Terrace on the Noosa River – an area that is fast rivaling the world renowned Hasting Street (Noosa’s main strip for fine wine and dining) – which just happens to be a short distance away too.
